We used to walk up (and ride down of course) until it was too dark to see anything. Then we went home, all exhausted. Good times!

How many times can a kid run up a hill to slide down again? Many times, as I did in my childhood in New Hampshire. And last December I watched my grandson joyfully run down a hill when he fell out of his snowtube. I think he thought he could catch the tube—winter sports can be so much fun for kids.
